Where do Airborne Infantry Get Stationed?
Okay…I am a future infantryman and i have airborne in my contract. Is there any other places besides Ft. Bragg or Cambell that I can get stationed at stateside? Because i really dont want to get stationed in North Carolina. Also where are Rangers stationed at?
I also have Ranger in my contract

airborne infantry don’t get stationed at Campbell. The infantry units there are no longer airborne– they’re air assault.
airborne infantry soldiers usually get stationed at Fort Bragg,NC, Italy or Alaska

There are 3 Airborne units in the US Army:
The 82nd Division @ Bragg
The 173rd Airborne Brigade (Separate) in Italy and Germany
The 4th Brigade Combat Team. 25th Infantry Division @ Ft. Richardson AK ( Anchorage area)
All of SOCOM jumps but are not Airborne units.
The 101 lost jump status while in Viet Nam in 1968 or 69, they are Air Assault. The Pathfinders in the 101 are on jump status but are not an Airborne unit.
Rangers are @ Ft. Lewis WA, Ft. Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield GA and Ft. Benning GA.
